Nikki and Matt! The joy in these photos speaks for itself. An April Fool’s wedding- with so many fun details- the men’s attire (see their jacket linings, their King Tut socks in honor of the groom’s name Tutelman, the group all holding up masks of the groom for his entry with bride Nikki, and the April Fool’s special hors d’oeuvres of Slim Jim’s, Fritos, Ritz Crackers and Doritos- which people actually thought was one of the hors d’oeuvres selections.)

And then Nikki and Matt themselves. Nikki simply couldn’t help herself from turning around in the middle of the ceremony to look at the crowd and give a quick smile. In fact she’d been peeking from behind the curtain long before she even walked down the aisle. And let’s talk about that walk. The DJ cued up the Star Wars theme and she waved a light sabre for a few seconds before her real entry song and the walk with her parents. Witness the joy as the newlyweds turned and leaped back up the aisle after the ceremony.

Pomme never looked more beautiful- natural, warm, candlelit. The ceremony decor set the perfect tone with an amazing flourish of greenery on a chuppah set in front of the mantel and fashioned from the prayer shawls of the grandfathers. Belovely did a terrific job – adorning Pomme with the simplicity of greenery, and candles and gorgeous florals on farm tables and rounds, all beneath a ceiling glowing with market lighting from Synergetic.

Wonderful! Glorious! So much fun and love and emotion. It was an absolute joy to host this family — who are actually real family members of Pomme- cousins to the owners!
