Kim & David
Kim and David’s wedding at Pomme tickled our fancy, it did, confirming our belief in the value of an open floor plan where pretty much anything goes! We fell in love with the two long tables – elegant, simple and dramatic in the natural space. And then wonderfully convivial once guests took their seats. The perfect intimate seating plan for Kim and David, with the dance floor in the central area. And with hardwood floors throughout, such a plan can work perfectly; in this scenario, dancing took place in the central area between the two tables. Then, all that was needed were a few simple greens and some candles, which was perfect for this March night. Even with snow on the ground, the space felt warm and inviting. And how wonderful is it to enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres outside, even in the snow, under the cover of the veranda overlooking the pond and the swans. Yes- a heated veranda, with clear sides!
And what’s not to love about Kim’s purple dress! And the laser place cards. And the donut truck at the end of the night. Fantastic wedding! Just perfect! Li Halpern did a tremendous job in the planning, truly!
