July tasting part one

The tasting is a fabulous showcase for our work, yes. It’s also a wonderful night for our guests– they are VIPs for the night, wined and dined. Then wined and dined some more. We love to show off!

The food was beautifully captured by Haley Richter. We can’t thank her enough. She did such a fabulous job!




Specialty Cocktails

Lavender French 75: Gin, Prosecco, lemon juice, lavender syrup, lavender garnish

Upper East Side Manhattan: Bourbon, sweet vermouth, Prosecco, bitters and brulee lemon round

Pickled Pear Moscow Mule: vodka, pear juice, ginger beer, pear, lime wheel

Taco: Mahi fish w/ chipotle aioli & pickled red cabbage

Watermelon square w/ goat cheese & pickled onion

BLT: arugula, parmesan, pancetta w/ cherry tomatoes

Lamb meatballs w/ truffle demi-glace

Mac & cheese in parmesan cup

Asian noodle nest with duck  

Summer roll w/ mango, cucumber, mint, Thai basil & sweet chili sauce

Crab cake with Chesapeake bay sauce on toasted brioche

Tuna tartar with sesame wasabi aioli on a homemade potato chip



Marinated mushrooms, roasted red bell pepper and charcuterie



Caprese salad w/ heirloom tomatoes, mozzarella & greens, roasted corn vinaigrette

Seasonal greens w/ caramelized onion tart, champagne vinaigrette

Peachtree’s classic short rib of beef w/ homemade demi glace

Every tasting is different- what we love about  working with new vendors, and also showing the versatility of our space. You can do just about anything. Lauren from Belovely did all the flowers, and came up with the concept for the tasting. She chose the linens – such a beautiful lavender, with the gun-metal chairs and the farm tables, an incredibly interesting mix of industrial with the softness of the lavender. Synergetic Lighting brought in Edison bulbs to hang over the central table. We just love the look!

Thanks as always to Party Rental for being so generous in allowing us to showcase their products. And to Cleveland at Blue Root Entertainment. He is the most charming DJ, always at our tastings, striking up conversations, finding the perfect songs for the evening’s feeling-tone. We love Cleveland.
